![]() Kicking down the DPI to around 1800 makes the sensitivity feel closer to the right aiming speed, but then I begin to notice the jittery imprecision you mention when trying to aim finely. The negative acceleration at 0.4 isn't too terribly intense, but it's still definitely present. The minimum the game will let you set in the GUI is 0.4, and is still way too sensitive for my mouse at its maximum DPI of 5600. However, with the way this game implements negative acceleration, the lower you set the in-game sensitivity, the slower the maximum look speed is. In other games, the symptoms you describe are usually solved by maxing out your mouse's DPI and lowering the in-game sensitivity proportionately. The negative acceleration is related to the in-game sensitivity. Mouse smoothing turned off in all games, so that's not the issue. I played another FPS, Hard Reset, recently, and in comparison, the DPI/precision felt much smoother at high sensitivity. When I turn up the sensitivity, I lose a lot of precision, making it hard to aim at little enemies off in the distance. What I am concerned about is the seemingly jittery, low-DPI mouse movement inherent to the game. I haven't noticed any negative acceleration.
